*The fixed annual levy assessment only is paid by all Associate (domestic) Members and those active members who perform less than 5 million RTKMs and is based on international RTKMs performed by the carrier two years previously.

**The variable assessment is calculated and dependent on the traffic statistics provided in Statistical Form1. The fixed levy assessment for 2008 has been set at US$ 17,588.

***These are special assessments proposed to the Annual General Meeting and voted on by the Membership. The alliance with the the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) confers membership in the FSF to IATA Members (voluntary); the IATF assessment is each Member's contribution to the International Airline Training Fund for scholarships to Members from countries with developing economies.
